Shirley Lea Hall walked into the arms of her precious Lord Jesus on May 17, 2024, at the age of 81.
Shirley was born on May 12, 1943, to John Hubert and Ora Lea Garner. She grew up and attended school in Chandler, Arizona. In July of 1960, with a monsoon dust storm in the distance, she married her high school sweetheart, Skipper Hall. Together they raised their two children, Lori and Scotty, on a small farm in Chandler. In 1987 they moved to the town of Maricopa where they continued to farm and raise livestock including a herd of Longhorns.
Shirley took tremendous pride in her profession of homemaking. She was an accomplished seamstress. She loved cooking her mom’s southern recipes for family and friends, and baking and decorating cakes for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays.
Having given her life to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, when she was young, Shirley lived each day sharing her thankfulness for His love, mercy and the abundance she felt he had blessed her with.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Skipper, her son, Scott, her daughter and son-in-law, Lori (Hall) and Joe Stuart, five grandchildren, Bailey Exsted, Taylor Stuart, Tucker Stuart, Lacey Hall and Tanner Hall and four great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother, John Garner.
There will be a service to celebrate her life at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary Chapel, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 9:30am with a Funeral Service at 10:30am. Interment will follow at East Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 4310 E. Southern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ.
