Shirley Ogrodowski, 59

She peacefully passed away on Wednesday May 3

rd

at the age of 59.

Over the past three years, she was fighting various health issues.

She is now reunited with her mother and father Margarita and Theodore Carpenter. Along with her sister Sandra Carpenter. Shirley is now in the arms of God and Jesus in heaven.

She is survived by her husband Kirk Ogrodowski and her daughter Faith.

Shirley was born on July 31

, 1963 in El Centro California. She grew up one of 4 siblings in Sacramento California. Growing up, she enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with her family.

She went to Long Beach State University and studied accounting. She lived in Long Beach until 2003 and moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her husband where they raised their daughter.

She enjoyed taking trips to the local resorts with her family. She also loved taking trips to California to visit friends and family for vacations.

Shirley was a very caring individual that loved to take care of others. She always loved to have people in her home and entertain others. She loved to bake and cook with her daughter. She had a joyful and bright spirit and always had a fun filled time with her friends and family. She was a strong and independent woman that always went after what she wanted. She always carried God and Jesus in her heart. She had a beautiful soul and was truly one in a million.

We will have a celebration of life in California in honor of her wishes.
