Siegfried Jaroy Ezell I

Our beloved Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather Siegfried Jaroy Ezell I, better known as Sieg 62 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away, May 30, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held on June 19, 2021 at Wesley United Methodist Church

750 E. Southern Ave. Phoenix, AZ

with a graveside service at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Sieg was born June 20, 1958, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was the second youngest child to Clara and Clarence Ezell. At one years old the family moved to Winslow, AZ where Sieg grew up graduating from Winslow High School as Bulldog. After high school he moved to Phoenix, AZ where he lived the remainder of his life.

Sieg was an amazing athlete in football and he carries a legacy with the Bulldog’s by scoring a game winning touchdown against their rival school in 1976. His specialty though was in track and field and he carries an even more respected legacy in this arena as shown by the numerous medals won in his youth.

Sieg worked for Revlon and Auto Zone for many years, but his true love and passion was being a bus driver for special needs children for the Roosevelt School District #66. He loved his job, his coworkers and especially the children he drove. They made him smile every day and gave him so much happiness in life.

Sieg was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church for 4 years. On May 30th, 2021, Sieg gained his wings at Arizona General Hospital. He is welcomed into heaven by his parents Clara and Clarence.

Sieg is survived by his 5 children; Nicole, Jaroy, Sheena, Steven, and Renora. Siblings Regina, Larry, and Brent. He was a proud grandpa of 9 grandchildren ; Angel, Julian, Mya, Samantha, Jordan, MacKenzie, Kaius, Avianah, and Alanah. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.

May he rest easy and watch over us as we continue life and guide us as he did on this earth. Until we meet again…
