Sofio Delgado

Sofio Delgado, a man who loved the simple pleasures of life, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born in El Paso, Texas, on July 29, 1935, Sofio spent his life working hard as a landscaper, bringing beauty to the world around him through his dedication and care.

When he wasn’t working, you could usually find Sofio outside on the patio. He enjoyed fishing, riding his bicycle and playing the guitar. More than anything, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He lived a humble life filled with love, laughter and the people who meant the most to him.

His beloved wife, Aurelia passed away in 2021. Together they built a life and shared five sons: Lalo (Joe), Sam, Rick, Angel, and Jaime. His legacy also lives on through his 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, who loved their grandpa/Tata.

While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Sofio is now at peace, reunited with his beloved wife, Aurelia, and his son, Rick who went before him. Though he will be deeply missed his love, strength, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
