Stephen Dwayne Foster, age 76, passed away peacefully on April 9^th, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona. Stephen (Steve) was born on September 28^th, 1947 in Gary, Indiana to Dwayne and Lena Foster. He is survived by his loving wife Patti, daughter Staci, daughter Amy (Raymond), and four grandchildren, Ben, Sam, Joanna, and Matthew. Steve will be remembered for his military service (Army), twenty-nine years of dedication to his community as a Police Officer, his remarkable ability to spread laughter, and his unwavering commitment to caring for his family. He was often found at the lake killing fish, or planting and harvesting his garden. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 20^th at Compass Christian Church in Chandler, Arizona. In honor of Steve’s attire-of-choice, come in your favorite trusty jeans! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassion International at www.compassion.com/ways-to-donate.htm and/or The Salvation Army at www.salvationarmymyusa.org/usn/. Steve touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. We rejoice in knowing he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You will forever remain in our hearts; yours was a life well-lived.
