Theodore Paul Benner

June 5, 1960 — February 5, 2026

Theodore Paul "Ted" Benner, a lifelong resident of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Phoenix at the age of 65.

Born on June 5, 1960, in Phoenix, he graduated from Moon Valley High School and went on to build a successful career as a real estate agent, serving the Phoenix area for 23 years. His knowledge of the local market earned him respect among colleagues and clients alike.

Ted was a proud Christian man who sought to follow the path of Christ throughout his life. His faith was a guiding force and source of strength.

Outside of work and faith, Ted had a passion for sports and fitness. He was a bodybuilder and enjoyed playing hockey in earlier years. A devoted fan of Arizona teams, he cheered on the Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Suns, and Sun Devils. He also loved playing poker, finding joy in both the game and the many friends he made playing.

Ted is lovingly remembered by his daughter Zamora Benner; his son Alek Benner; his mother Judy Benner; his siblings Mickey Benner, Ray Benner, Pam Benner, and Debbie Benner. He was preceded in death by his father, James Benner.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who were touched by his life. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
