Trischa Danice Milliken

Mar 11, 1977 — May 19, 2026

Trischa Danice Milliken, known lovingly to many as Reid, passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 49. Trisha was born in Phoenix and lived in Tempe and Scottsdale before moving to Benicia, CA, and Bullhead City, AZ, and returning to Phoenix after ten years. A true Arizonan, Trisha was born on March 11, 1977, in Phoenix and had been a resident of Chandler at the time of her passing.

Trisha was a proud graduate of Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Tourism Development and Community Planning. Armed with determination and an extraordinary work ethic, she found her career home at Merrill Lynch, where she distinguished herself over the years and rose to the position of Assistant Vice President of Global Wealth Investment Management, serving as the Senior Operations Manager of Wealth Management Fraud and Claims. Those who worked alongside her would readily attest that Trisha brought tireless dedication to every task and every environment, earning the deep respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Trisha gave birth to her son Brody in March of 2009. Above all else, Trisha adored her son, Brody A. Milliken. He was the shining light in her heart. She loved Brody more than anything in this world and told him every single day how much she loved him and how extremely proud she was of him.

Trisha had a servant's heart. She put the needs of others, whether family, friends, or coworkers, above her own without hesitation. She brought food to those experiencing homelessness and made sure their pets were fed as well. Her undying love for animals was legendary. Some would say she loved animals more than humans, and anyone who ever caught her kissing alligators or cuddling with hundreds of rescue dogs would find it hard to argue. She participated in countless fundraising events to support AZK9 Rescue, her favorite animal charity, channeling her passion into meaningful action.

Trisha had an artist's eye, a trait she likely inherited from her parents. She would spend hours wandering the Scottsdale and Tempe art festivals, and whenever she visited New Orleans, her first stop was Jackson Square, where she would seek out her favorite artist. Music was equally central to her life. She loved live performances, with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival holding a special place in her heart. She treasured attending concerts with friends and family in Arizona, California, Colorado, or wherever her favorite artists happened to play. She was also a devoted sports mom who raised Brody in soccer, baseball, and football, serving as his biggest cheerleader at every game. Sedona, New Orleans, and San Diego were among her favorite travel destinations, each holding cherished memories.

In July 2020, Trisha married David P. Jenkin in Prescott, Arizona. Their partnership was built on love, laughter, and shared passions, including a mutual devotion to football so profound that Trisha wove it into her wedding vows, promising Dave she would watch with him every weekend. She once even traveled to Columbus for Dave's birthday to cheer on The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Trisha is survived by her devoted husband, David P. Jenkin; her beloved son, Brody A. Milliken, and his father, Ray Milliken; her parents, Mary and Kevin McGeever, and Tom Reid; her sister, Kate Kirby; and her brothers, Tom McGeever, Ryan McGeever, and Stefan Reid. She also leaves behind a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and extended family members whose lives she enriched immeasurably.

The Celebration of Life for Trisha will be at the home of her parents on July 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

Trisha loved her family, her friends, and her animals. They were her whole world. Everyone who knew her knew what a beautiful soul she was. Trish made lifelong friends in every city she has lived in. She always wore the biggest smile and was forever surrounded by love, light, and happiness. She was proud of the life she lived, and we are all better people because of her. May she rest in eternal peace.
