Vera M. Forsythe

Vera M. Forsythe, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 of natural causes.

Born August 6, 1931, she was the daughter of Norman and Emma Hummel of New Brighton, Pennsylvania. She was an employee at IBM for 22 years and an active member of Sun Lakes United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Forsythe and one sister.

Surviving are two sisters, daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and John Serna of Odessa, Texas and Trudy Forsythe of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Maria and Sara Serna; Brandon and Morgan Adair and their children Bowdi and Lainey; Carter and Marisah Adair; and five grand dogs whom she adored.

A private family gathering will be held to place her ashes next to her beloved husband in the garden at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church.
