William J. Flanigan

William J. Flanigan, 85 of Sun Lakes, peacefully entered into Heaven on January 15, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley, Lund Home, his wife, Deborah at his side. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, The Flanigans relocated to Scottsdale where he served on the Scottsdale City Council before moving to Sun Lakes. Bill was an avid tennis player and won many awards, and did volunteer tax preparation in the area. Bill loved to travel the world. He is survived by his wife Deborah Croci-Flanigan, his biological family; Robert E. (Debra), Michael J, Linda M. Lindberg (Don); James P. (Rina) and Brian T. 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son’s and daughter’s mother, Georgia Flanigan and son John. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Steven’s Catholic     Church, 24827 S. Dobson Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. Private gathering will be held following service. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
