William Scienza Jr.

William Scienza Jr. age 82 of Gilbert, AZ passed away on August 3, 2026. He was born September 29, 1943 in San Pedro, CA to William Scienza Sr. and Iole Scienza. William (Bill) will be remembered for his generosity, his kind heart and amazing singing voice. He sang and recorded with the Melody Makers, Octets, and in various choirs in church and school. He had a servant’s heart, loved the Lord, loved people and served in his local church his entire life.

At age 9 he had a paper route and worked at a gas station at the age of 14. After graduating from high school he worked as a plant manager for two different boat trailer manufacturing companies. He started an insurance company in 1990 and worked nights at his new job until he was able to develop his own business.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carole of 61 years; two children, Bryan Scienza and daughter-in-law, Ivonne and Shana Scienza Gomez and son-in-law, Fred Gomez; four grandchildren, Jared, Jesse, Eli, and Bryan and two great grandchildren, Sofia and Nolan.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary.

An Entombment will follow the service at San Tan Memorial Gardens, 22425 E Cloud Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
