Zealynd Dane Reed

, age 10, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 4th, 2022.

Zealynd was born on February 1, 2012 and after 1362 days in foster care Jessika adopted him.

To know Zealynd was to know love. His infectious laugh, bright smile, and beautiful soul were irresistible. Zealynd was able to reach in and touch your heart leaving a permanent impression on it. He broke down barriers, loved unconditionally, and did so with such grace. Simply put, he made this world a better place.

Zealynd loved crazy wheelchair rides, watching his sisters dance, car washes, movies, speed bumps while driving, listening to people read him books, looking at Christmas lights, bounce houses, and watching fireworks on the 4th of July. He had a zest for life and brought so much love into our lives.

Zealand is survived by his mother, Jessika, his sisters, Kenyah, Ajah, Endyah, Cassara, Irelynd, and Parys, and his brothers, Fynnland, Lachlan, Arrow, and Canyon. He is also survived by a large extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Please consider wearing something yellow, big or small, to his service; Zealynd would have loved to see everyone wearing his favorite color.
